Paw Diaz is a young actress, model and TV host in the Philippines. These two words that became the famous tagline of a clothing line’s TV advertisement years ago is actually the “fashion canon” of budding actress Paw Diaz.Born Amparo Posadas-Quinto on March 16, 1987 in Laguna-and this writer were already friends long before she tried her luck in ABS-CBN’s reality artista search, Star Circle National Teen Quest, last year, where she emerged as a finalist.
But it took me four years to finally see what’s inside her walk-in closet at their residence in Crismor Village in San Pedro, Laguna!
“Half of my closet is filled with rugged/sporty outfits. I have a lot of loose shirts as well as tattered, low-rise jeans that I match with flip-flops or rubber shoes because that’s my usual get-up whenever I attend rehearsals at the studio or if I stroll the mall with my family,” she said.
She only wears sleeveless/slim-fit shirts, skirts and high-heeled shoes, “if I am required, let’s say kapag lang may tapings or stint ako sa ASAP,” she said. “Mas boyish ang clothes ko, mas comfortable akong gumalaw.”
“What you put on from head to toe tells who you are. Just wear whatever you feel like wearing. Do not don something just for the sake of impressing other people. If you are comfortable with your clothes, it will radiate in your aura and will further boost up your confidence!” she said.
