Jewel Mische

Jewel Fatima Avejade (Alamayri) Mische (born June 29, 1990 in Manila, Philippines) is a Filipina actress who became the first Ultimate Sweetheart of Reality-based Artista Search StarStruck. She is currently one of the leading women of Richard Gutierrez, where they are partnered in her first major role in a primetime series Kamandag.

She won and named as the Ultimate Sweetheart title on StarStruck. Jewel Mische gathered 157, 618 of votes. She got P1 million cash each plus P2 million worth of exclusive management contract with GMA 7, Belgian Waffle franchises worth 250 thousand pesos each, 50,000 gift certificates to Calayan, and scholarships to Informatics.She also received a modeling contract with the Dutch Mill Yogurt Drink.

She landed her first major role in a primetime series called Kamandag, where she played as Jenny. It was Richard Gutierrez himself reportedly personally asked for Jewel to be one of his leading ladies apart from his another leading lady Maxene Magalona[citation needed]. They will be working again together in the suspense-thriller film by director Chito Roño under GMA Films entitled Dagaw.

She is one of the celebrity endorsers of Brit London (line of shirts). As of September 1, 2007, Jewel became a Regal Films contract star. Mother Lily of Regal signed her up to an eight-picture contract that started her being cast to an episode of the horror trilogy Shake, Rattle, and Roll 9, which entitled, Engkanto where she got to work, for the first time, with the artists of the rival network. She played as Tonee, a member of a teenage gothic band.

Tanya Garcia

Tanya Katherine Rosales Lyttle, more popularly known by her screen name Tanya Garcia (born August 5, 1981), is a Filipina telenovela and film actress. She was born to a white American father and a Filipina mother of Spanish descent. She became a household name after playing Cecilia in one of the longest running soap operas of GMA Network, Sana ay Ikaw Na Nga, opposite Dingdong Dantes.

After her stint at the said show, she was reunited with onscreen partner Dingdong Dantes at the light dramedy Twin Hearts as Althea, a heart operation survivor who fell in love with the ex-boyfriend of the heart donor. She was also paired with Dennis Trillo.

She did a religious-theme show in QTV called Noel where she was paired with James Blanco and Paolo Contis. She was then later on paired with Ogie Alcasid in the family-oriented tv show “Ay Robot” again with QTV.

Tanya Garcia also starred in numerous movies. She played the role of a possessed man’s wife in Kulimlim with Robin Padilla as her leading man in 2004. Some of her movie credits include Shake, Rattle and Roll 2K5, Filipinas and Batas Militar.

Bianca King

Bianca Charlotte King (b. March 18, 1986, Germany) has been an actress in the Philippines since April 2004.

Her best-known role to date was as "Aviona" in the 2004-2005 series Mulawin.

Bianca’s career started at the tender age of 13, when she began modeling for print ads and TV commercials. She did ads for Rexona , Coke and Purefoods Tender Juicy Hotdogs. Who could ever forget her as the cheerleader who was the fancy of every teenage boy? Nancy Castiglione

Nancy Jane Castiglione (born on February 24, 1981 in Canada) is a Filipina actress, model and host of Italian and Filipino heritage. Her mother is Filipina and her father is a Canadian citizen of Italian descent.

Nancy grew up in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, and took up Political Science at the University of Manitoba for two years.

While vacationing in Manila, Philippines in 2001, Nancy was spotted by talent casters who got her to appear in television ads such as Nestle Yogurt, Red Horse and Piattos. Eventually, Nancy entered the Philippine show business. She has become one of the sought-after endorsors. Some of the brands she has endorsed are Bobson and Hang Ten Cosmetics Fragrances. She is currently the endorsor of Unica Hija and So-en. Has her initials "NC" tattoed on her hand by Butch Bautista.


Nancy's auspicious beginnings in Philippine Showbiz started in the year 2000, when the pretty Balikbayan was on vacation from Canada. Carlene Aguilar

Carlene Ang Aguilar is a Filipino beauty queen. Aguilar is a former Miss Philippines Earth and a former Bb. Pilipinas World.

Carlene was born on February 8, 1982, to her parents Raul Aguilar and Catharin Ang. She has 2 brothers and a sister, all raised in the heart of Quezon City, Philippines. Carlene studied at the Immaculate Conception Academy in Greenhills for her elementary and high school education. She is currently (2005) taking up her Bachelor of Arts course in the University of the Philippines.

Carlene won the title of Miss Philippines Earth and became the country's first representative to the 2001 Miss Earth pageant. In 2004, she became Miss Chinatown Manila and Miss Chinese International 2nd Runner-up. In 2005, at the Binibining Pilipinas pageant she was crowned as Binibining Pilipinas World. Recently, she was proclaimed as Miss Internet WWW Queen 2006. She gave birth to a healthy baby boy on 22 September 2007. The father of her son is actor Dennis Trillo. Baybayin or Alibata

Baybayin or Alibata (known in Unicode as the Tagalog script) is a pre-Hispanic Philippine writing system that originated from the Javanese script Old Kawi. The writing system is a member of the Brahmic family (and an offshoot of the Vatteluttu alphabet) and is believed to be in use as early as the 14th century. It continued to be in use during the Spanish colonization of the Philippines up until the late 19th Century. The term baybayin literally means syllables. Closely related scripts are Hanunóo, Buhid, and Tagbanwa.

Ehra Madrigal

Geralyn Madrigal Gaspar, who is better known by her screen name Ehra Madrigal (born June 25, 1985 in Quezon City, Philippines) is a Filipina actress. She is a talent of Annabelle Rama and is a contract artist of GMA Network. A high school graduate of St. Mary's College, Quezon City, she is the eldest sister of fellow actress Michelle Madrigal and the daughter of former actress Karla Kalua, whose real name is Katherine Ann Madrigal.

Ehra Madrigal was the first of the leading ladies to be in the cast. It was thought of that she will play the role of Fujiko Mine from the anime. Rhian Ramos was then included in the cast leading some people to think that she will play Lady Clarisse d'Cagliostro from the Lupin movie The Castle of Cagliostro. But when a third leading lady, Katrina Halili, was included in the cast, GMA Network announced that nothing except only some elements of the characters from the anime will be in the series.

Mariel Rodriguez

Mariel Rodriguez (born Maria Erlinda Termulo on August 10, 1984) is a Filipino model and TV host. She used to be a host in Extra Challenge, a show in GMA-7 after being removed and transferred to rival station ABS-CBN, where she was one of three hosts of the Philippine franchise of reality show Big Brother, Pinoy Big Brother along with Toni Gonzaga and Bianca Gonzales.

Host Mariel Rodriguez is the first houseguest. She was "trapped" in the House by Big Brother on Day 4 after she brought Jon into the confession room and then the main House area. Contrary to what was presented when she came in, Mariel was in the House with a special mission and she did so with the consents of herself and her manager Boy Abunda. That mission is to be Big Brother's extra eyes and ears and to report which of the celebrity housemates are being true to themselves, as well as learning things about them. She was supposed to leave on Day 42, but because of recent events, Big Brother decided to further extend her stay until "the appointed time." That appointed time was Day 49. A week later, having missed the housemates, she accepted Big Brother's invitation to stay until the finale. Of course, she would have a series of tasks upon her return, her first one happened to be taking over Big Brother's place on Day 57 as the latter would be gone on an "official business." She left the House for the second time on the Day 77.
