Kaye Abad

Kaye Abad (born Katherine Grace Cosme Abad on May 17, 1982 in Pennsylvania, U.S.) is a Filipina actress. She is a member of ABS-CBN's circle of homegrown talents named Star Magic. She was launched as a member of Star Circle (now Star Magic) Batch 3 in 1993.

Gretchen Barretto

Gretchen Barretto (born March 17, 1969) is an actress from the Philippines. Gretchen is the eldest of the Barretto Sisters with Marjorie Barretto and Claudine Barretto. She is currently in a much publicized relationship with Filipino billionaire businessman Antonio "Tonyboy" Cojuangco. They have one child called Dominique.

Barretto recently released a CD entitled "Unexpected" consisting of classic love songs.

Maggie Wilson

Margaret "Maggie" Nales Wilson (born November 30, 1989 in the Philippines but raised in Saudi Arabia) is a British-Filipino model-actress from Bacolod City and was crowned Binibining Pilipinas-World at the 43rd Bb. Pilipinas beauty pageant held at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City on March 3, 2007.

She represented as Miss Philippines in the 57th Miss World pageant on December 01, 2007.[1]. She is presently an MTV VJ, the first Philippine beauty queen to become one.

After her crowning as Bb. Pilipinas World 2007, one columnist allegedly questioned her qualifications for not being a high school graduate, which is one of the requirements for joining the pageant. A former Binibining Pilipinas-World titleholder and Miss World 1993 Finalist, Ruffa Gutierrez, defended Wilson in a television interview, saying that the latter was chosen because she is tall, stunningly pretty and smart.

Incidentally, Wilson shares the same name as Miss Tanzania in Miss International 2005, Margareth Wilson, as well as the Speaker of the House of Representatives in New Zealand, Margeret Wilson.

She participated in the 57th Miss World pageant in Sanya, China in December 2007 but was unplaced.

Maxene Magalona

Maxene Sofia Maria Arroyo Magalona (born 23 November 1986 in Manila, Philippines) is a Filipino actress born in a prominent showbiz family.

Her father is Filipino rapper Francis Magalona and her grandparents are the late actors Pancho Magalona and Tita Duran. The role of Alwina in Mulawin was originally given to her, but she had to turn down the offer in order for her to focus more on her studies at that time. It was later given to Angel Locsin. To date, her biggest break on television is when she was chosen to be one of Richard Gutierrez's leading ladies in Kamandag. Maxene Magalona will be playing Diosa in Sine Novela: Una Kang Naging Akin.

She is now taking up Social Science in Ateneo de Manila University.

Nikki Gil

Nikki Gil (born August 23, 1987) is a Filipina actress, host, and singer. She is famous for doing the Asian versions of "Breaking Free" and "Gotta Go My Own Way" from the Disney Channel Original Movies, High School Musical, and High School Musical 2.

Nikki Gil was originally known for her role in a Coca-Cola commercial. She was voice talent for various television and radio commercials and jingles including Dunkin Donuts, J&J, Ovaltine, Anchor Milk, Del Monte Catsup, and Del Monte Pineapple.

She later became a regular in variety show ASAP '06, Breakfast Surprise, and MYX. She was a host for reality tv search show Pinoy Dream Academy. She released a self-titled album, which includes the songs "Sakayan ng Jeep" and "Glowing Inside". She recorded a rendition of the song "Breaking Free" for the soundtrack of the Disney Channel's original movie High School Musical, together with Singapore's Alicia Pan and Malaysia's Vince Chong. Because of the success, she was also entitled to make the Asian version of "Gotta Go My Own Way" with Tom Price for the Philippine soundtrack of the 2007 Disney Channel Original Movie, High School Musical 2. This made her an Asian Girl Superstar.

Nikki is now a member of ABS-CBN's circle of homegrown artists, Star Magic.

Claudine Barretto

Claudine Margaret Castelo Barretto, was born on July 20, 1979 in Manila, Philippines. She is the daughter of Miguel Alvier Barretto and Estrella Santiago Castelo. Siblings include Miguel Jr., Michelle, Joaquin, Geraldine, Gretchen and Marjorie.

She married actor Raymart Santiago on March 27, 2006 at the Tagaytay Highlands. They have an adopted daughter, Sabina Natasha and their first son, Rodrigo Santino, which Claudine gave birth on July 19, 2007, a day before the couple's birthday.

Claudine attended high school at South Merville in Paranaque. She wanted to take Speech and Theater at the University of the Philippines to better herself in acting.

The young actress started appearing in stage plays while undergoing a workshop with Repertory Philippines in 1992.

On May 14, 2005, Claudine won her first best actress award from the 1st Luna Awards for the movie Milan. And on June 24, 2005, she won again for the movie Milan from the 53rd FAMAS Awards.

She won three awards for the movie Nasaan Ka Man from the 8th Pasado Awards on March 15, 2006, 22nd PMPC Star Awards for Movies on June 30, 2006, and 54th FAMAS Awards.

She also won the best actress award for the movie, Dubai, from Maria Clara Awards.

Other awards Claudine won were PMPC Star Awards for TV, Best TV Personality Award 1997, for the episode Kasunduan of Star Drama Presents.

Lovi Poe

Lourdes Virginia Moran Poe, better known by her screen name Lovi Poe (born February 11, 1989 in Quezon City, Philippines), is a Filipina actress and singer who is currently a contract star of GMA Network. She is the daughter of the legendary actor Fernando Poe Jr. and is famous for playing the role of Kristal in Bakekang.

Poe was born in St. Luke's Hospital in Quezon City and studied at the Colegio San Agustin in Makati, where she finished high school on March 31, 2007. She is currently taking freshman classes at the International Academy of Management and Economics in Makati City, Philippines.

She was handpicked by international singing duo Same Same for a duet called "Without You" which is included in the duo's debut album "The Meaning of Happy." She was first paired to Cogie Domingo. Her biggest acting break to date is when she played the coveted role of Kristal, the daughter of Bakekang which she pushes into show business to be an actress in the 2006 Bakekang TV Series which gain critics and praises on her acting. She was also a part of Zaido: Pulis Pangkalawakan as the newspaper journalist who is a friend of a policeman who turned into a superhero among with his other cousins, which is played by Marky Cielo as Alexis Lorenzo or Zaido Green. they played as loveteams in the series. In 2008, she had another biggest break playing her first daring role as Joanna in GMA daytime drama Sine Novela: Kaputol ng Isang Awit which stars Glaiza de Castro, Marky Cielo and Jolo Revilla.

In 2008, Lovi recently won a New Movie Actress of the Year award for her movie Shake Rattle and Roll 9 in 24th PMPC Star Awards for Movies.

Pauleen Luna

Pauleen Luna (born November 10, 1988 in Manila, Philippines) is a Filipina actress and television personality, who is one of the hosts in the Philippine television program Eat Bulaga!. She appears in several GMA Network programs.

Luna started her showbiz career when she joined in the Little Miss Philippines contest of Eat Bulaga! in 1995. She then started acting at the age of 13 and becoming a member of ABS CBN's Star Circle Batch 11 before transferring to GMA Network. Her biggest break came when she got the role of Odessa in the second of Encantadia trilogy called Etheria. In 2006, she ranked #9 in the FHM-Philippines list of the sexiest women and was featured in the cover of the December 2006 issue of UNO Magazine. She is set to play an important role on the first Koreanovela adaptation in the Philippines, Ako si Kim Samsoon.

Past relationships have included Sherwin Gatchilian, the mayor of Valenzuela City, JC de Vera and Marvin Agustin.

Isabel Oli

Isabel Oli (born October 20, 1981 in Cebu City, Cebu, Philippines) is a Filipina model and television and movie actress. She is the youngest of seven children of Chinese father and a Filipina-Spanish mother. Isabel graduated from the University of San Jose - Recoletos in Cebu with the degree of Information Technology. She started to get the attention of the viewers when she landed the role of "Isabel" in the Max's of Manila restaurant commercial with multi-awarded actor Piolo Pascual. She transferred to GMA Network in 2005.

However, it was her similarly named role of Isabel, the alay (sacrifice) and leading lady to matinee idol, Richard Gutierrez in Sugo, that launched her to full stardom, her exposure on Sugo also landed her a role on the GMA Films's summer 2006 offering Moments of Love, playing Dingdong Dantes's younger sister on the film. Her face currently graces the covers of glossy magazines, billboards and print ads, and appears regularly on GMA-TV shows.
